In love with housing i seen so far in internet!

I'm in love with the housing below, hope when i visit Indonesia to search for my new home it will be as good!!

Still searching for a house to call home in Jakarta

It's been few weeks and we still haven't decide which area in Jakarta we will be staying. My office will be at Jakarta Pusat somewhere in the Kuningan area. Let's see what options we have.

Option 1 - Stay in a 3 bedroom apartment fully furnished. The good thing about this is that I don't have to spend 2hrs in the traffic to go to office and spend another 2hrs back home. 4 hrs a day will add up to a 4 months worth of wasted days if i were to stay there for 2 years! See some of the pictures above.

Option 2 - Stay in South Jakarta, but the as mentioned above, i will be wasted a lot of my life! So places like Pondoh Indah is not an option. I need to find a place northest of south Jakarta. So at the moment, we are looking at Kebayoran Baru or near it's surrounding. Below are some of the houses which is awesome but too south for me.

Got news my new role in my company is based in Jakarta

My first international assignment. Exciting days ahead or at least i hope. I do have mix feeling leaving Singapore especially i put a lot of time and money on my current apartment.

We are still deciding whether we should rent out our current house, but that's for another time to tell.

Tentatively, the target timeline is June 1, 2010. Will start my house hunting in May! Hopefully we can find a place we can make a home out of it.
